Need Certification Fast? PCO Offers Expedited Services!

PCO offers a nonrefundable expedited service for operations that need new or expanded organic certification quickly. This service costs extra and is added on top of regular certification and inspection fees.

Expedited services help speed up the review and inspection process, but they do not guarantee that your certification will be approved by a certain date. Final certification timelines are largely determined by your operation’s ability to meet all organic rules and respond quickly to any requests for more information.

What You Get with Expedited Service:

  • Your application or updated info will be reviewed as soon as possible.
  • Your inspection will be scheduled quickly.
  • The inspector will send their report within 5 business days after your inspection.
  • PCO will review the report within 5 business days and tell you if anything else is needed to finish certification.

Note: The expedited fee is charged per scope (like crops, livestock, or handling). If you are applying for more than one scope, you’ll pay the expedited fee for each one.

How much does it cost?

You’ll pay the expedited service fee, plus the usual certification, inspection, and new applicant fees. Because inspections may be rushed, they could cost more than usual. Check the PCO Fee Schedule for full details or contact us to learn more

You’ll pay the expedited fee for each scope of certification you’re adding or changing. This is in addition to the annual certification and inspection fees.

Depending on the timing of your expedited request, you may require an additional inspection (outside of your regular annual inspection). For details, see the PCO Fee Schedule or reach out to our team.
